Compare the median price of your Acura RDX to its average insurance in your state

The compact cousin of the Acura MDX, the Acura RDX has equally efficient features and gives the heavier crossover a run for its money. It is less expensive that its heavy duty counterpart, though its insurance costs can be astronomical. This can make it challenging to wheel the RDX onto the road.

Although the price range is a wide $15,000-$28000, the tag is the lightest in the state of Wisconsin at $15,974. But the relatively huge insurance of 7% could force the buyer to shell out an average of $1170. The state still offers one of the best deals on this vehicle.

Minnesota on the other hand has the heaviest price tag set at $28,911. The buyer will have to shell out 4% of the amount for insurance on an annual basis.

The states of Oklahoma and Montana charge a heavy percentage of the median price for insurance. One will have to pay a whopping 10% of the price towards vehicle insurance in these states. But buyers from Oklahoma will have to shell out an average of $20,944 for the vehicle as against the ones in Montana who can get the car for an average of $16,998.

The states of Nevada, Mississippi, Colorado and Arkansas have the vehicle pegged at the heavier side of the price band above $25,000. But the average insurance percentages are 4 %, 4%, 4%and 5%, respectively, making these states favourable to buy the Acura RDX.

Alabama, Indiana and Michigan have some of the best deals on the purchase of this car, with median prices below $18,000. Michigan, however, has the highest percentage of insurance at 14%. The buyer may therefore have to shell out an average of $2413 to this end.

The state of North Carolina offers the best deal for the vehicle. The average insurance amount is only $918 and the median price is a reasonable $22,795, making it the best place to buy the RDX.
